Weird… I tried to get Skyrim on 5 1/4″ floppies at my local Babbage’s and they told me they didn’t make them!

We all are immensely amazed at your ability to write a one word comment before anyone else and will forever respect you to the highest degree with massive upvotes.

Or we would if you actually got first. And if anyone gave a fuck.

Who would've thought that Skyrim came out 30 years prior to its HD remake as a part of the new Elder Scrolls series? I mean, I remember the Dovahkids like it was yesterday, but it feels like Bethesda skimped a lot on the Dovahkid storyline for the latest release. Re-watching the intro to one of my favorite old cartoons (IMO) makes me wonder how we can go back to the good old days where we judged a game based on its difficulty and story instead of its graphics and gimmicks.

    FUN FACT!
If Babbages did, in fact, carry Skyrim on 5 1/4" floppies, it would require at least 5,000 for the game install.
which is probably why they don't make them anymore.
