Judge: Let's put his guilt to a vote. If he's guilty, say "Eye"

    Miles:
I want a Nintendo Wii for Christmas!
    Mrs. Edgeworth:
    Sorry, son, but you can't.
    Miles:
    What? Why not?
    Mrs. Edgeworth:
Because you'll WiiMote your eye out!

There were 6 reports today of wiimote related deaths…

  5. Vosur on April 9th, 2011 10:13 pm

The theory still allowed him to win the case by default since the prosecutor was out of commission.

  6. Tartaurus on April 9th, 2011 10:14 pm

The true reason Godot wears the visor. Too bad he wasnt in court that day…

  8. Vosur on April 9th, 2011 10:27 pm

He should've kept his eyes peeled for an opening in the case.

  9. Lordshadow on April 9th, 2011 10:27 pm

I, personally, am surprised that I got a positive reply out of Grammar Berzerker, on a joke that required misspelling "Aye."

Edgworth: The prosecution OHGOODGOD rests, your OHTHEPAIN honor.

    Phoenix: OBJECTION!
As you can clearly see, the break on this wrist-strap is completely different from the break on the plaintiff's wrist-strap!

Edgeworth: ARRRGHWhere are youOHGODgoing with this, Wright?ARGHWHYAREN'TYOUHELPINGME

Phoenix: Obviously either my strap was sabotaged…
    OR THE PLAINTIFF'S WAS!

  13. OrionX on April 9th, 2011 10:39 pm

  16. Jimmy on April 9th, 2011 11:12 pm

Psh, give people waggle, they complain the strap breaks and ruins their tvs. Lower the waggle and every other game console copies your shit. FUCK.

After that case, Edgeworth went on to sue Nintendo.
As their defense attorney, Phoenix tried to prove Edgeworth wrong by demonstration.
The strap broke, yet again, hitting Edgeworth in the other eye.
This lead to another law suit, another hearing, and, eventually, a wiimote in every part of Edgeworth's body.

  24. TheHighscore on April 10th, 2011 12:08 pm

Surprisingly, not the first time I have heard of this happening.

  25. KZN02 on April 10th, 2011 1:09 pm

Given that there's the Wii version of the Ace Attorney series … I wonder with all that Wii-pointing when something like that will happen.

  26. Haite on April 10th, 2011 4:16 pm

Old joke about a old complain is old.

  27. Rexxmech on April 10th, 2011 10:11 pm

Another option was offer to play a round of Wii bowling with Edgeworth then though the power of the Wii, become BFF's

  28. MagmarFire on April 11th, 2011 6:10 pm

Maybe Phoenix should've taken up darts after AA3 instead.

  29. AManWithACloak on April 12th, 2011 9:50 pm
