Somewhat related news: the L button on my DS stopped working and I thought I'd have to go through another "repair" with the company (we all know they just send you a different console), only this time out of the warranty (yes, a handheld last longer than a console. Gotta love how well put together a 360 is).
Turns out, I was able to fix the problem by blowing into the DS. This leads me to believe 2 things.
1. Nintendo never abandoned the heart and soul of the NES (and also the lungs)
2. All problems need to be solvable with a similar solution
