For the record, Mario can theoretically live underwater for eternity, can survive being splattered by huge spiked crushers twice in a row, has an inhuman degree of adaptive skills, kicked a shell into the sun so hard it died, and it's rumored his mustache can disarm enemies before he stares them to death, while using it to attract females for mating season. All while he retains the ability to clone himself.

You probably shouldn't be telling a guy like that what to do with his life.

Those abilities are sort of unreliable though. I mean, in Super Mario Sunshine, a game practically based on water, he couldn't last very long underwater without diving gear. Even then, only for a few minutes.

Now; the ability to breath golden coins as if they were air, on the other hand....

I like the idea of more songs being written about video games... But I'm not sure if this is the way.

I mean, sure, we've been seeing this sort of thing happen for a while now, especially with more popular franchises like Pokemon or whatnot, but it's hard to reconcile that something that just a few years ago would have been considered nerdcore music is now technically popular, and has all of the trimmings of such a motif layered onto it, for better or for worse.

I guess we should just start expecting to see more of this as the audience for games becomes more widespread.

Not to bring serious talk into mah halolz or anything.

No, no, no. This is not nerdcore in the least. This is a mainstream style pop song with nerdcore-ish lyrics. I'm not dissing their geek cred, just pointing out the musical genre difference. I'm guessing that's why Trunks is not a fan.

Exactly my point. This song clearly is NOT nerdcore. However, any efforts like this that may have occurred, say, three years ago, probably would have been considered as such, because making a song about video games was a much less mainstream thing to do.

At least Rosalina has an excuse for not putting out. If you look around her ship there's not really anywhere they can get busy without being seen. Peach on the other hand has nothing BUT empty rooms in her castle.
