Mmm… not really a lawl per se… but I did find it funny they advocate against smoking on the MGS4 install screen!

You’re watching Futurama, the show that doesn’t condone the cool crime of robbery.
since when did metal gear 4 come out?
@viewer of no concern: It came out on Thurs.
People at Konami are hypocrites!
I didn’t know that Tom Selleck was in MGS.
Have consideration for others when choosing to smoke… Especially the bad guys you're about to kill.
Can’t have kids lighting up, now, can they? Personally, I blame McDonald’s. If they didn’t lose that case all those years ago, alot of these stupid warnings may not exist.
@Orion Fury
I Hate The Warning Labels At McDonald. Like The Coffee
WARNING: Contents Are Hot
Noooo! I Wan’t It Cold, Dammit!
Everyone knows smoking is bad for you, but you need it to see lasers! Some people smoke constantly just in case.
smoking warnings in video games. shoot me. shoot me now.
I laughed my butt off the whole time I was installing this game.
The Smoking Warning was the icing on the cake.
=^_^=
I’m just glad that atleast they’re trying to help. Even if no one takes them seriously, at least they tried to stop cigs.
Smoking screws you up… in MGS4.
lol’d 5/5
So basically, MGS4 tries to cram as many ultra-lame moments as it can.
Seriously, first a blu-ray plug that doesn’t even try not to come across really strong and now this.
Lol, Blank-Mage. I wish my lungs could take that abuse, because I am constantly afraid of running into lasers.
Well, I bet they have that warning basically to say ‘Don’t try this at home’, because snake smokes. So that some people don’t go ‘HEY WANNA BE COOL LIKE SNAKE? LETS SMOKE! (and go assassinate the president!)’
@ManiacalZManiac
Well a lady sued Mc Donalds (and won) for $2M (or something like that) just because she got coffee spilt on her, and that the cup didn’t warn that the coffee was hot -_-. Obviously she didn’t care, she just knew she could win money so she was like ‘YAY’. But everyone knows that story…
Anyhow, this really shouldn’t have a function to rate, because it’s nothing special
@FrEEz:
THAT’D BETTER NOT BE A SPOILER OR HEADS WILL ROLL!
YOURS WILL ROLL FIRST!
*”Terrorist Fist Jab”*
Um, so does this mean in MGS4 you can get lung cancer?
now, is that a cigarette or a joint?
@ Boreas
I Don’t own MGS4. Hell, i don’t even own a PS3. SO pretty much, i have no clue whether that’s a spoiler or not. Honestly, i got the assassinating the president thing from Penny arcade: http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2008/6/11/
Remember kids, smoking is bad… It gives away your position to the enemy… >.>
@RE TVirus, so does yelling at someone to put out their cigarrette (someone actually died because of that in WWI)
Has anyone even noticed where it said 4 minutes remaining?
Just another fact to prove that Playstation 3 sucks ass
@Gehraz, with Devil May Cry 4, Capcom recommended making yourself a sandwich and a soda while it installed on the system. Penny Arcade suggests you use the remaining time to learn Sanskrit (bitches LOVE Sanskrit), or just start playing it on the 360 as soon as you put the disk in
I wonder if Joe Camel is a member of Foxhound.
hmmm…ok, not much to say but:Lame!
Hey Gehraz, you forget that Sony likes to lie and cause people pain. That screenshot may say “4 minutes remaining” but that could be in “Sony minutes” which I hear may actually be days…
Wait what? PS3 games need to install!? Since when?
It helps load times. CD’s and DVD’s hold more info than the old cartridge games but the tradoff is load time. On the plus side, you only have to go through the install once, and from then on you never have the old problems of the PS and PS2.
Did anyone ever play Mortal Kombat 2 on PS? Did anyone do it as Shang Tsung? Let’s say that you could do a morph code, then go to the kitchen and make a sandwitch, learn Sanskrit (bitches love Sanskrit) and still be waiting. PS3 install is annoying, but it’s an investment of time.
Meh, at least it won’t annoy me with driver/processor/video card crap and CD keys and whatnot like on PC…
