What they don't show is the real gamers that react with a solid "Meh?" to stuff like that. ...well, that or they start shouting incoherently about noobs, add in a bunch of racial slurs and other various unsavory insults for the console crowd in specific.

I don't either. The extent of my DotA 2 knowledge comes from the same rehashed jokes of Nerf Now about, amongst other things I don't remember, Shoes, Russians and Feeding.

Indeed, the world of DotA 2 is a cryptic one. I suspect it'll take archaeologists decades to decipher the code.

It's a team game, there are certain things you should and should not do.

I actually went to NAB (big film tech conference) in Vegas a few weeks ago and there were some companies there showcasing their plans for the Oculus Rift. It was interesting because I thought it was mostly going to be used for video games, but I guess not.

They are all very supportive and excited that Facebook bought OR, but seeing as how they were mostly business men that was expected I suppose.
