To add clarity to the shit you're about to read, here's what happened.
On April 1st, most users celebrated "Alpar Fools Day," where there changed their names and avatars to various versions of famed monocled, Christian otaku user, Alpar. Many Alpar jokes ensued; it was like that trippy restaurant sequence from "Being John Malkovich," but with less tits.
Except for your humble narrator, who changed his name and avatar to Halolz founder Shawn Handyside to see how long he could get away with it. Surprisingly, long enough.
