    Well, since this submission has few comments, I guess it's my chance to make Shawn and the rest of you read this. I tried sending this right after I deleted my first account, but new users need to have their comments approved and mine never were.

    Please READ all of it (specially you, Shawn), pretty serious issue:

    So, Mentlegen here, apparently there is a a pretty serious security issue in Halolz and/or IntenseDebate related to embedding images, which was the reason I deleted my original account after that last comment in the Zelda's reaction to "I love you" submission.

    Basically: you can get broken links related to comments with images in Halolz that contain private info of the user who made that comment.

    I tried sending emails directly to Shawn instead of revealing this here because I was afraid people with bad intentions would "hunt" for this info, as I'm not telling where you should look for it, for obvious reasons (if any of you know, please DO NOT say it here. You can't trust every single person who uses this site).

    As far as I've seen, you can only get links to recent comments with images, but the link reveals your IntenseDebate email, username and IP (not really sure about the IP, as in my case it was directed to my net company, not my personal address).

    I regret having to say this here, but Shawn didn't answer any of my emails, and I'm not sure if he's working on it and simply didn't answer me or just ignored the emails with a huge "URGENT" and "SECURITY ISSUE" as if they were spam. Through that email I've told him exactly where you can get that link, as I think it's an issue he can fix. Shawn, please check your inbox for that.

    I wasn't the one who found out about this, so I must thank LinkLab for warning me when my own info was being shown, although Link is cool and probably wouldn't use this info against anyone, remember that other people may have found out about this.

    Make sure there isn't anything you don't want revealed publicaly in your email (like your real name, if you care about that: you can just change your email in your IntenseDebate profile) if you are still going to use images. As I said, the IP I got in the link that revealed my info was only showing my ISP address, and I can't say exactly if getting someone's IP is all that useful as long as the person has any security on their PC, but be aware of that.
