As far as I can tell, they're references to other Can can videos. It's the most logical reason I can think of anyway. I assume they use Flowering Night and Popipo since they're more recognizable or something like that.

I'm counting upwards of 163 cases of diet Coke; not counting Coke Zero, of course.
