So they announced a few secret characters for the upcoming Street Fighter X Tekken crossover fighting game… and the biggest surprise is probably Mega Man! Or should I say, the creepy middle-aged Mega Man 1 boxart Mega Man. Fred seemed to be pretty weirded out by this, but I think he’s kinda awesome! While they’re at it maybe they should throw in the tiny green deformed Captain N Mega Man too?

Unless they bring back MML3 or make a game about a Unicorn that shoots flaming rainbows that vomits cupcakes out of its ass, I don't think I'll care much about this. Seeing Megaman over and over just makes me sad…
It is rather nice artwork though. I'm also calling that Pacman eats someone for a move.
Keep in mind that they are only in the PS3 and Vita versions. Xbox players are getting screwed.

2012 is the 25th anniversary of the release of Megaman. Last year, for the 25th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda, Nintendo gave us Ocarina of Time 3DS remake, FREE 4 swords game for DS, Skyward Sword, FREE orchestral CD with Skyward Sword, and a Zelda Symphony on tour. You had better have more than THIS and Megaman X for IOS if you know whats good for you!

And yet, Mega Man is still not in MVC 3. Although, I guess I should be happy and have a nerdgasm here for their use of the original Mega Man box art style Mega Man. Dammit, Capcom. You make me so mad for so many different reasons but you just can't make me stay mad at you. After all, you were the best developer for the NES.

You want to know the worst part? According to the japanese website, this is supposed to be the mega man from MegaMan Legends. That's right, the fat, middle-aged guy with the blaster up there? That's supposed to be Mega Man Trigger.

so much butthurt online over this. they're not bad, and if scrubs don't like them, they can simply not play as them, but it's not like the chars are taking up unannounced character slots. my biggest gripe with the game is still the scrub friendly gem system
