A flashlight and some noise can freak her out, but thunder and lightning don’t bother her at all? Makes sense to me!

No, she isn't startled because of the lightning alone: the lightning actually hit an off-camera Boomer, which exploded and hit her with some vomit. She's kinda a neat freak, so of course getting her clothes dirty would alarm her.
