Yeah but the Vashta Nerada do not enjoy being that colourful, and they always reminded me of a Scooby Doo Villian.
Reply
Kind of reminds me of the current Dr. McNinja storyline.

I will check that one...

to continue the chain: reminds me an Asimov´s Story

Reminded me of the nasaghasts in the current dr. mcninja storyline.

I glad I'm not the only one asking that question...

Obviously, it was a family dinner. Actually, I don't see any resemblance either.

Take some time to digest the thought.

I had a gut feeling about this.

Still, you have to admit it's hard to swallow.

look's like you've been down voted, chew on that for a while.

You guys really know how to Pac these puns in.

There's no dot about it: when it comes to puns, our reputation isn't Atarisk.

Heh heh, "swallow". It's funny because of who you said it to.

Now THIS is Claymation!

Here, let me help you with that:

Was that an epac win? Sorry I can't help but pac in all the puns. I don't want to clay-im any credit. I don't have any power to resist, I just keep pelletting them out without blinkying. I just can't miss Pac-man puns. Maybe I should give up the ghost..

That last one didn't sound punny....

And it would have been funnier, if at the part where he drops a handful of nuts onto one of the ghosts, they were pac-ing peanuts instead. Yep. That may have been my worst pun to date. Please leave my face intact.

Worst pun to date? Challenge accepted!

Those ghosts wanted to OM-NOM-NOM-NOM-NOM-NAMCO that Pac-Man!

Now all we need is Gandalf to pop out and scream YOU FOOLS!

And then Pac Man will defeat Smaug and will have saved Narnia

Pacman, they wouldn't want to eat you so much if you'd stop eating all that fruit! The flavor is soaking into your soft... tender.... delectable.............

You know what, go ahead and keep eating fruit. *drools*

The music reminds me of... VeggieTales for some odd reason...

O_O ... At the mention of it, I suddenly have the same feeling. Maybe... God is Bigger? (Everything of higher quality had the audio removed.)

I never thought anyone else on Halolz would have seen VeggieTales. *sniff*

I keep thinking 'Why is it my friends family (christians, methodists specifically) was always so obsessed/possessing of Veggietales...?' I just looked it up on Wikipedia (cant believe it took from my 10th to my 18th bday...) and realized...I realized the reason why they had so much of it, and why it always involved (for the most part) bible related stories/aesops/themes....
It was christian based.
No wonder....(No, its not Christian hate. Im agnostic. Family was/is christian to an extent but my mom didnt feel the need to HAVE to go to church EVERY sunday, same with most of my family...Thus, christian material wasnt 'stuffed down my throat' as they say) Actually makes me really respect Veggietales. I remember it was always a bit enjoyable, if annoying, to watch when younger...the fact that it was christian based/focused never even occurred to me....
Learn something new everyday...

tl;dr - I learn something about veggie tales I never realized, gain more respect for it. World moves on.

I can understand and respect your position in all of this. My parents sought to make God the center of my life, but they did not shove it down my throat either. They had me go to church every Sunday, but in my opinion I just went to church quietly and resentfully. The few times they ever asked me, "Do you want to stay home?" I took advantage of.

Over time my resentment faded away and I began going to church out of my own accord --and this was as I got older and was given more and more personal freedom. All in all, I believe my parents were uncompromising in their faith to God but did not take things too far with me.

It is true that going to church every Sunday is not a requirement, but a recommendation. Even so, I do not want to sound like am trying to tell you or anyone here how to run your life. I just thought I would share my background to give you something to quietly (or openly) think about on your own. Like you said, gain more respect and the world moves on.

It's only a recommendation in some/most denominations. Most of the smaller/other ones don't recommend it. They do it, but they tend to be the 'you can just be with god on a personal level one on one. Sunday isn't REQUIRED/The 'only' way to do so!' groups. I don't think you sounded like you were telling us any of that. I was just remarking on the fact that I recognized Veggietales, looked it up, and never realized it was christian focused xD
