Its impressive, sure, but your health would be near gone I would think. The threat is a bit minimal therefor, but someone this much in control should be able to fight more conventionally in a fierce way.

Actually, I think the Demoman needed the Gunboats, His stickyjumping techniques are way more lethal than the soldier.
