This only makes sense if you played Super Mario World.
Yeah, I’m guilty here too. It’s just not worth it for the green yoshi’s anyway. This wouldn’t happen if you could just get a blue one.

I found it infinitely easier and more efficient/fun to get a green Yoshi and turn it blue with the bonus warp wings @ Cheese Bridge Area after visiting Top Secret Area. But I’m weird like that, I suppose.
Oh my gosh… this picture actually makes me want to cry… O_o and in my opinion, blue Yoshi rocks, but it’s just as easy to get a cape so Yoshi can do that multi-jump thing and keep up with you.

Damn, if Yoshi looked that sad back then maybe I wouldn’t have done it so much.
In some parts of the game, you actually have no choice but to dismount mid-air to reach something. It’s something they designed in the game themselves. So, this is cruelly intended to happen.

I do not recall any areas like this. Maybe a few where you can’t climb a vine with Yoshi, but nothing where a good running start or a Blue Yoshi can’t do the job. Can you name one?
And is it wrong that I intentionally kicked baby Yoshis off cliffs for kicks?
