I don’t totally get this, because I haven’t played Bastion yet, but Doc_ock_rokc assures me it’s awesome. Is he right?

At least I know this part of Skyrim. Why are there so many Skyrim submissions lately?

  2. Sexysoundingstranger on February 29th, 2012 6:34 am

  5. Not The Kid on February 29th, 2012 6:47 am

imagine playing through a dreamy story about slowly uncovering the story behind a post apocalyptic world, and add in this narrator's audible chocolate voice and you'll have a decent idea.

i'm still waiting for the monty python and the holy grail mod
    -tiny bunny dragons
    -giants that say nii
-one castle that plays the camelot song on loop
    -birds carrying coconuts

When I think about it, wouldn't it been smarter of The Kid to tuck his head in, walking up to the block, rather than his arms?

  9. PvtDisposable on February 29th, 2012 9:45 am

Soon after his escape, The Kid traveled to the wild west of Skyrim and became an outlaw named Billy

If the narrator from Bastion narrated Superman 64 and ET for the Atari, they would become enjoyable games.

    That's how good he is.

    Also dat delta blues.

You haven't played Bastion? YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED BASTION!?
…Wiggles, get my top-hat chain gun.

  12. MC Ninja on February 29th, 2012 10:50 am

I've read every comment so far in the narrator's voice…

  13. Mentlegen on February 29th, 2012 11:20 am

If they had that narrator through the whole game, I'd actually stop ignoring Skyrim and finally finish it.

My lifelong dream is to make enough money to have this man do my talking for me. I could insult people and they would feel complimented simply because this man with a golden voice addressed them.

I guess pokemon weren't the only things hiding in the tall grass.

  16. TomQuoVadis on February 29th, 2012 2:18 pm

A dragon that's been hiding in the tall grass?

Heads up: I've been pretty busy this month so I won't comment on Halolz very often. Also this is LinkorZelda but I have changed my picture description and name.

  23. tstriker1 on February 29th, 2012 7:54 pm

Funny, when I watched the Retro skyrim trailer, I was thinking about the Bastion narrator but then I was like "naah, nvm" and didn't comment.
Dammit, I was this close to proving that I can see into the future!

"Shawn's been goin' crazy tryin' to post something that'll bring a smile to the face of the people.
Ya see, Shawn's whole reason for makin' folks smile is cause that fool thinks that he'll get the cash he needs to buy the things he thinks he needs.
Most of what Shawn wants is things relatin' to the equine variety.
When ya think about it, it don't make much sense.
But I've never been one for judgin' folks as soon as I see 'em.
Shawn's been livin' a fool's dream, and I ain't for one wakin' folks when they're happy.
Guess you could say that Shawn won't let me do that."

I bought myself Bastion for my birthday, and I just bought the official soundtrack for it a few days ago.

    Number of regrets: zero.

  26. Marcus on March 1st, 2012 2:14 pm

This was really well done though the funny bits felt out of place. The Bastion Narrator's voice seems way to serious and smooth to be used humorously in my opinion.
