THE BIGGEST CITY IN THE POKEMON WORLD

Well there could be a few people in those buildings! You know, the ones with no doors…

I'm no Pokemon prof, but it seems like the main city in Black & White would be the biggest city in the Pokemon world?

  2. Vizardvalor on May 23rd, 2011 10:01 pm

I feel compelled to make a funny witty comment since I'm one of the first comments but I can't think of any soooooo, [ Insert funny pokemon joke here ]

Is that what the fake gym is for?

  4. WizardRex on May 23rd, 2011 10:07 pm

Surrounded by a perfectly placed grid of trees.

  5. BoxeyBrown on May 23rd, 2011 10:07 pm

They probably also account for the entire workforce of pokemon's largest company: Silph Co.

  6. Happy_Killmore on May 23rd, 2011 10:13 pm

Well, obviously, they're all staring blankly in one direction waiting for random people to walk by so they can physically assault them with trained monsters and steal their money.

  7. MonocleMan22 on May 23rd, 2011 10:14 pm

I believe there are more people in the roads than in towns… They are a hole world of hermits…

  8. VaultLegend on May 23rd, 2011 10:17 pm

Must be a great world, no hospitals or jails necessary.

  9. spplmj on May 23rd, 2011 10:19 pm

See this is why they need to build a fence on the border. Those Johto workers come cheap but they cant build doors on buildings.

Saffron City isn't the biggest city in the Pokemon World, the biggest city prior to gen 5, or even the biggest city in Kanto. It's outranked by Celadon City, Goldenrod City, Slateport City, Lilycove City, Jubilife City, Hearthome City, Veilston City, Castelia City, and Nimbasa City.

man pokemon really outnumber and outpower humans. imagine if they were intelligent enough to realize that! and imagine if pokeball technology wasnt invented! what game would that be?

  14. CakeBard on May 23rd, 2011 11:04 pm

The population must be on a steep decline from parents sending their adolescent children out into the wild where there are dangerous magical creatures, creepy old men who tell you stuff you already know, and Gary motherfuckin' Oak

  15. MokubaKaiba on May 23rd, 2011 11:12 pm

its a problem when there are more people waiting for you to come into their line of vision, then being active members of their community

  16. 1avidgamer on May 23rd, 2011 11:50 pm

    We need 6 more people.

  17. 1avidgamer on May 24th, 2011 12:02 am

    OBJECTION!

    Red lives in a mountain.

I bought that house on the bottom left! If you look inside there's a stash of Masterballs and Nuggets. To enter the house you need a Missigno to glitch the graphics to make a door appear. http://www.jontanis.com/gallery/d/5039-1/trollfac

Well, when you compare it to Pallet Town and it's population (which is countable on a hand, probably,) this is….still pretty damn small.

  20. SHODAK on May 24th, 2011 12:53 am

List of cities bigger than this one:

Nimbasa: 150 (239 if you count the sports people)
Castelia: 130 permanent residents, ∞ of commuters.
    Goldenrod: 126
    Lilycove: 123
    Slateport: 76
Celadon: 72 (82, including Team Rocket)

Well this should clearly be removed. If anything, while seekers of internet and video game related humour, we Halolzers are preservers of all that is true, factual and of impeccable grammar. This is an afront to at least two out of three and I’m only just barely letting pass the lack of a full stop.

Obviously the answer to this is simple… Team Rocket killed off a bunch of people during their reign and thus is why the population.

Also, about the doorless buildings… Where else would Team Rocket hide the bodies.

  24. Tobikun on May 24th, 2011 7:29 am

I'll tell you what happened here. As part of the psychic training in saffron city they lock all of the children in these doorless houses with no food or water and in order to survive you must use your psychic abilities to find an escape route. Generally the children thinks this means phasing through the walls or something but that's ridiculous. They were only supposed to blow a hole in the wall with their minds. Did I mention Saffron's population has declined because not many psychics have passed this test?

Trainers: Screwed over by the direction North.

  26. CriticalQuit on May 24th, 2011 10:03 am

Of course the population's low. It's an E rated game, only the pokemon can procreate, and only while no one's looking.

  27. KZN02 on May 24th, 2011 12:11 pm

So what happens to the population count if we include Pokemon?

  28. walktovanish on May 24th, 2011 1:43 pm

YES! Nobody talks about Homestarrunner anymore. I miss it… :/

Therefore I am now fully convinced that Japan is the last bastion of humanity in the world and has subtly sought revenge against all pokemon, albeit with a worryingly low population.

Shigeru… do you think you could put down SS for a moment and give some more backstory on everything pokemon?
    Pleeeeeeeeeeease?
