Aeshir could defeat every robot thrown at him, but he was no match when Eggman replaced all the rings with tasty onion rings!
Believe it or not this is actually a full game mod called Sonic 2 XL where Sonic gets fatter the more rings he picks up! I kind of like this idea… Sonic needs rings to survive, but eat too many and he literally can’t move any more!

I like the game concept.
You need to have at least one ring to survive, but if you grab too many, you won't move, and you die anyways.
And they love putting rings in inconvenient places too.

A good tip to remember is that Tails doesn't put on any weight when he picks up rings. When Sonic's to heavy to spin, you can still use Tails to kill enemies and pick up rings that would kill Sonic.
