You guys check out Sonic 4: Episode 1 yet? The physics are pretty close to that of classic Sonic 1, 2 and 3… although as Trunks points out, they can also be a little wonky.

After all, what's a little "physics issues" in a game with a protagonist who is a blue hedgehog (that runs faster than sound to boot), has a diet that consists of naught but chili dogs and rings, can use emeralds to superpower himself AND has a 9-year-old-fox-girl-turned-boy-due-to-America's-hyper-sensitivity-sidekick, hmm? (Quite a mouthful, that.)
I love Sonic's face there, it's so liek he's saying
"Come on bitch, you hate me, i gave you shit for the last decade, but you know THIS is the game that will put sonic back on top tier. You want it, you know it could be shit but you're gonna pay for PART of this game. You're gayer than Knuckles and you still want me. What are you waiting for?
