Will this marathon of convention appearances ever end? Actually yes it will! This weekend will be my last big one as I end the month with an awesome convention known as ConnectiCon.
What is ConnectiCon you ask? Why it’s Connecticut’s premiere anime-videogame-webcomic-scifi-roleplaying-popculture-geek convention! And despite its horrendous early 90’s website, it is actually a really fantastic con! It’s definitely one of my all-time favorite conventions, and in fact it was the first convention I ever attended as an artist (all the way back in 2003!)
So yeah, I highly recommend coming out for if you can make it… it’s a good’un! And I’m not just saying that because I’m going to be there (in the dealers room at booth #110), there are lots of other cool artists and celebrities to meet, and it’s just a real fun time in general!
Oh and I almost forgot there is going to be a Halolz panel on Friday afternoon featuring both me and former (lazy) assistant editor Mike! You’ll come for the slideshow, but you’ll stay for the Left4Dead protips!
So pencil it in! This weekend. Hartford. Be there!

Remember Bonkai? SamKablam liked it so much he decided to give it a bit of a graphical upgrade! And since it’s one of my favorite submissions, I totally approve!

Not really a joke per se, but friend and Halolz submitting regular Trunks wanted me to mention his new Counter-Strike Source map based on a very familiar Mario Kart 64 level. Do the kids still play the Counter-Strikes? Honestly I’d like to see this as a TF2 map!
Well anyway I thought it was kind of a cool idea, so check it out!

Beautifly used Gust! It warped the fabric of time and ripped your reality apart! Does that count as super effective?
