This one was done by my buddy Sam Logan who does Sam and Fuzzy (probably my favorite webcomic at the moment!) I’m not sure when Sonic officially crossed the line… but it was probably either the upcoming “Sonic Unleashed” (he turns into a werewolf) or “Sonic and the Black Knight” (he has a sword).

Yeah we don’t get it shawn, we’re all young and retarded :P I remember seeing that jump the shark thing on That 70’s Show (fez was imagining). Still, if you have to point out a joke it’s not funny :/ Because of this, i shall not rate
Oh and btw, sonic jumped the shark long ago when PS2 came out. Only the handheld games are good now (I tried sonic chronicles: dark brotherhood. Basically an RPG where the special attacks in battles are activated like Elite beat agents)

I wish I read the pic before the explanation (because I was still waiting for the pic to load). However “I am just a shark from the post-apocalyptic pirate cyborg future.

I think I’m going to be stoned by everyone else for saying this, but I still really like playing the games. The stories were never coherent at all. Just look st the sonic comic Slackerz did. Seriously, Dr. Robotniks evil scheme was to kidnap animals and put them in robots.
But the main point was that I still do love playing Sonic games.

How dare you suggest Sonic with a sword is anything less than pure awesome in hedgehog form? For shame, Mr. Handyside. For shame.
I hated sonic unleashed because of the whole idea that it might be a shitty RPG type like the last one, but then I saw the trailer and shat bricks of PURE WIN.
No one can say jumping the shark lasts forever, if they screw it up though, nobody will give a shit ever again.
Sonic Adventure set the grounds for failure, Shadow the hedgehog failed to the maximum possible extend, and Sonic Riders just bored the shit out of people making it even worse.
Honestly, I would settle if they made more side scrolling platform jumpers in 2-D, the classic games never died.

oh and 5/5 cuz Sonic games have lost their……well….they suck now.

As for the error 500 message, I think I got that about 75% of the time yesterday. WTF! I thought going to this new server was supposed to be a good thing!

also, i think it started this shark jumping around the time of sonic adventure 2 battle, since the next big game after that was sonic heroes, then shadow with a gun (wtf?!?)
i too am getting internal errors and other problems when coming onto this site. it takes way longer then it use to to get onto the site itself, then navigating to another page on the site took forever as well

Your parodying a canceled title from 94! Sonic X-treme was going to be a good game, but got canceled due to a lack of a good name. Making this is just emphasizing a point SOME people are feeling. personaly I think that sonic unleashed is a little overkill myself, but what’s wrong with sonic and the black knight? we could do a joke where meta knights in it? wouldn’t that be funny… I could continue this all day, but I gotta go.
i believe sonic crossed the line when he abused the substance known as 3D.
